The National Art Society merged with the American Art Society in the Spring of 2012. Our goal is to give our members and affiliates a larger platform to network on, and to reach a larger audience. Thank you to all the members of the AAS board that have made this acquisition possible.

The name Junk & PO derived from a word play of the game Jan Ken Po, commonly known as Rock Paper Scissors. Just as the game is based on choosing a tool to overcome your opponent, Junk & PO utilizes an analogous mentality throughout the creative process — with “tools” being various art mediums and “opponents” being self-expression and effective communication. It is also my philosophy for all areas of life: Every moment presents an opportunity for play time! Junk & PO specializes in fashion and portrait photography. Currently, Krissy Fernandez is a published photographer and the lead photographer for Mahal Style and FashionGun.com.
SANDPAPA was founded by Concetta Antico, a lifelong artist and teacher, whose favorite way to paint is en plein air. The organization offers excursions to sites around our county and surrounding areas to give you the opportunity to learn and enhance your plein air painting.
